JAMMU: A jawan attained martyrdom in a sniper shot from across the border on the Line of Control in Nowshera Sector of Rajouri district.
”A jawan identified as Sudesh Kumar was targeted by Pakistani snipers this evening in Nowshera Sector of Rajouri,” Defence sources here said. They said the jawan died on the spot.
”This is the second ceasefire violation in 12 hours in Nowshera Sector,” they added. Earlier in the morning after a brief lull, Pakistan violated the ceasefire in Nowshera Sector. (AGENCIES)
