JAMMU, Nov 30: Renowned film director and producer from Jammu, Jayesh Gupta has been invited to attend 3rd Karnataka International Film Festival (KIFF) as guest of honour.
The 3rd Karnataka International Film Festival is being organized by Nava Karnataka film Academy, Dharwad (Karnataka) from December 22 and 24 at Sawai Gandharva Kala Mandir, Deshpande Nagar, Hubballi (Karnataka). During the 3-day Festival, thousands of feature films and short films from all over the world will be screened and the best of them in different categories will be awarded.
Besides, Jayesh Gupta from J&K, who will attend the event as guest of honour, more than 100 eminent personalities and artists from different countries, will also participate. It is pertinent to mention here that Jayesh Gupta has won a lot of awards in last two years in various international film festivals. Recently, he had won the best director award for his film “Bacche Mann Ke Sacche” at the International Film Festival of Jammu and Kashmir.
Previously, he had won best social film award for his film “Kyun” at Karnataka International Film Festival, best jury award in Jammu Film Festival and best director award at Goa International Film Festival for ‘Bacche Mann Ke Sacche”.
