Jayesh urges people to support AAP in upcoming Assembly elections

JAMMU, Aug 29: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Jayesh Gupta today appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to support the AAP in the upcoming Assembly elections, assuring them that the party, if given the opportunity, will not disappoint them as traditional political parties have in the past.
Addressing residents in the village Chatta, located in the Bahu Assembly Constituency of Jammu district, Jayesh stressed the significance of these elections, stating, “These elections will determine whether voters choose a politics of truthfulness or continue to be deceived. It is a test for the people to decide if they will once again fall for the empty promises of traditional political parties or endorse AAP’s commitment to honesty.”
Jayesh pointed out that unlike other political parties, the AAP will never mislead or deceive the public for its own political gain. He criticized traditional political parties for repeatedly betraying the people by making false promises to garner votes, particularly mentioning their current attempts to mislead voters with promises to restore Article 370. He urged the electorate not to believe in these false promises, emphasizing the need for a change.
The AAP leader outlined his party’s vision for J&K, which includes creating employment opportunities, tackling the growing drug menace, improving the condition of Government schools and roads, and providing better basic facilities to the citizens. He expressed deep concern over the prevailing drug problem in J&K, highlighting that the future of the youth is at stake due to rising unemployment, which has driven many young people towards drugs.
Jayesh urged the people to use their votes wisely in the upcoming elections, stating that a vote for the AAP is a vote for a better and brighter future for the region.
