JAMMU, May 17: Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) today ordered transfer of Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Jammu Range-II, Rakesh Kumar to Delhi.
He was among around 150 officers of Indian Revenue Service (IRS) across the country, who have been transferred by the CBDT.
Rakesh Kumar has served in Jammu and Kashmir as Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax before being promoted as Joint Commissioner in the month of October last year.
On promotion, he was posted as Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Range-II. He has already served in the office of Director General Vigilance of Income Tax Department in the Union Capital.
His posting orders in Delhi will be issued separately by the CBDT.
