MENDHAR, Mar 20: The dead body of a JCB operator was found hanging under mysterious circumstances in his rented accommodation near Hakim Morh in Mendhar Sub-Division of Poonch district late last night.
Officials said that the deceased has been identified as Ankit Kumar, a resident of Rajouri, who was working as a JCB operator in Mendhar and living in a rented house.
On being informed, a police team reached the spot and shifted the body to the hospital, where after conducting post-mortem, it was handed over to the family, Dr Javed Ahmed said.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case ay Police Station Mendhar and started an investigation.
