JAMMU, Mar 25:Jagti Coordination Committee (JCC) organized a meeting of Jagti inmates today in which the representatives of various organizations including Voice of KPs , relief holders, Samajwadi Party Migrant Cell etc participated.
Addressing the meeting president JCC Ravi Ji Bhat said that entire Community of displaced Pandits should come on a single platform to fight for its rights and this was the opportune time for the same. He alleged that the community has been deprived of basic and fundamental rights owing to which displaced Pandits are facing miseries.
Roshan Lal Raina president Voice of KPs said that there are no facilities at the Jagti Hospital and it lacks the basic infrastructure. Though, the problems were brought in the notice of Chief Minister and other Government representatives including MLAs but to no avail. Over 20,000 inmates in the township are without medicare facilities, he added.
Ajay Bhat president Relief Holders Association said relief organization staff is harassing migrants with their dictatorial attitude. He said with the rigid and callous attitude of the Government the migrants are left with no option but to boycott the by elections.
Smajwadi Party Migrant Cell president Inder Ji Labroo also criticized the relief organization and alleged that officers were harassing migrants.
Addressing the meeting chairman JCC Vir Jee Belove said that not only the present Government has been non serious in mitigating migrants sufferings but previous governments too were responsible for the same and it was NC and Congress who were responsible for the displacement of over seven lakh Pandits from Valley.
He alleged that Kashmir centric parties and politicians are not sincere towards Pandits. Sameer Saproo, RaviJi, Pran Ji, Sunil Kumar, Ashok Ji, Rajnath, Bushan Lal Pandita and Pintoo Ji also addressed the meeting.
