JCC-Govt agreement welcome step: NTUF

JAMMU, July 9: J&K National Trade Union Front (NTUF) has termed the agreement between the Government and JCC leadership as a welcome step and hoped that Government would resolve all pending issues within three months.
In a joint press statement issued here today senior members of the Front Arun Moza, Nazir Ahmed and Rajinder Kumar lauded the agreement signed yesterday between Government and the JCC leadership including Khursheed Alam, Qayoom Wani and Gafoor Dar at Srinagar. They claimed that this agreement was reached with the intervention of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. They congratulated the JCC leadership for this break through and hoped that all the pending demands of the employees will be addressed before September 30, 2012.
Meanwhile, All Departments Clerical Staff Association in a meeting held here under the leadership of Sukhbir Singh, Ravi Singh and Anil Mehta discussed the outcome of the negotiation / agreement between the government and JCC leadership. They expressed satisfaction over the decision taken regarding removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre. They expressed hope that Government would honour its commitment and address this issue before September 30.
