JAMMU, Feb 3: Jagti Coordination Committee (JCC) in its meeting today under the chairmanship of Ravi Zutshi has lambasted the CAPD Department for supplying ration to camp inmates during last three days of the month which results into manifold problems.
The meeting said that people have to wait in long queues to get the ration as after the month is over they are told that the supply has lapsed.
The meeting said that some families in the camp have been deprived of ration supply also for unknown reasons and demanded that they be provided ration at an earliest.
The meeting demanded that the ration, sugar and other essential commodities be made available on Shivratri festival.
It demanded that cash relief be also paid for the month of February before the holy festival and there should proper supply of water and power.
The meeting demanded supply of medicines and repairs to bath rooms immediately.
A K Lidoo, Bansi Lal Koul, Inder Ji Labroo, S L Tickoo and Girdhari Lal addressed the meeting.
