JCCI to take action against members for misconduct

JAMMU, Apr 25: The Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), president today declared that action is being taken against the members who were involved in mis-conduct.
An emergency meeting of all the major Bazar Associations was convened today at the Chamber House on the request of president Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Rakesh Gupta to discuss the fall out of Jammu bandh call on April 11, 2018 which was not support by the Chamber and random notices being issued by the Jammu Municipal Corporation to the traders.
The heads of all major Bazaar Associations were present and threadbare discussions were held regarding major issues and the steps to be taken in the near future.
It was declared by the JCCI members led by Rakesh Gupta that a 11- member Disciplinary Committee shall be framed soon which shall decide and recommend appropriate action against the members who were involved in misconduct, detrimental against the interests of the Jammu Chamber as per its constitution.
The presidents of all the major Bazaar Associations reposed their faith in the Chamber team and were unanimously of the view that Chamber’s stand has always been justified.
The other office bearers of CCI present on the occasion included, Rajesh Gupta, senior vice president; Rajeev Gupta, junior vice president; Manish Gupta- secretary general and Ashu Gupta- treasurer.
