JCC’s protest, Kam Chor Hartal from today

JAMMU, June 12: The employees of State Government will stage protest demonstrations at district headquarters from tomorrow (June 13 to 15) and observe complete strike on June 16 besides conducting ‘Gherao’ of Civil Secretariat at Srinagar and March to Raj Bhavan.
A spokesman of the JCC/ EJAC(K), Kulwant Singh said that on the call given by senior Joint Consultative Committee leaders Khursheed Alam, Abdul Qayoom Wani and Gafoor Dar the employees would hold protest demonstration at Srinagar, Jammu besides other district headquarters across the State from June 13 to 15 in support of employees pending demands. The employees will also conduct Ghearo of the Secretariat and three senior leaders Khursheed Alam, Qayoom Wani and Gafoor Dar will be leading on each day of the programme. The employees would observe complete Kam Chor Hartal on June 16 and also march to Raj Bhawan.
The main demands of the employees included release of pending Pay Commission arrears, regularization of daily rated, consolidated workers, enhancement of retirement age, removal of pay anomalies and settlement of grievances of PSU employees.
Meanwhile Jammu Kashmir Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association unit Kathua led by Manohar Singh has resolved to go on pen down strike on June 16 in support of pending demands. They demanded removal of pay anomalies of the cadre without any delay.
