JAMMU, June 12: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (JCMS) organized a free multi speciality medical tests camp in its premises at Shalamar Road, here today.
President of the Chamber of Commerce & Industries (CCI) Jammu, Arun Gupta was chief guest on the occasion. He inaugurated the camp by cutting the ribbon.
During the camp which was organized under the presidentship of Romesh Chander Gupta, a number of medical firms/companies participated and performed their assigned duties. Dr Rajesh Gupta (Physician Specialist) rendered his valuable services during the camp.
Several tests including Fibroscan, Neuropathy, Spirometry, HB, Thyroid, Diabetes, Lipid Profile, HBA1C, Uric Acid, Bones Mineral Density, Blood Pressure and GERD were conducted free of costs during the camp. More than 5000 patients had registered themselves for the camp and they satisfactorily availed the benefit of the camp and got their tests done free of cost.
Speaking on the occasion, Sabha president Romesh Chander Gupta said that JCMS has always been on the fore front to serve the society through different modes and the people belonging to various sections have been benefitted.
He said the Sabha also provide financial assistance to meritorious students of the Biradari, besides monthly pension to the widows/needy and medical aids to the deserving people from time to time.
