JAMMU, May 30: Continuing the tradition of providing community services, a Free Physiotherapy Assessment Camp was organised by the Jammu College of Physiotherapy (JCP) here today.
The camp was organised at St. Xavier’s School, Barnai, with the primary objective to conduct general assessments, evaluate postures, and screen for posture-related issues among the students.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Navinderpal Singh, Principal of JCP, commended the faculty and organizing team for successfully conducting such a significant camp.
He expressed his gratitude to the Principal of St. Xavier’s School, Pankaj Vihans, for his support and permission to hold the camp on the school premises.
Additionally, Dr. Singh praised the college management, especially Chairperson Suman Sharma, for their unwavering support in organizing such events.
A dedicated team, comprising Dr. Akhil and Dr. Pooja, along with physiotherapy students, examined approximately 200 students for various posture-related musculoskeletal problems.
Following the assessments, the doctors delivered an informative lecture on the prevention and maintenance of musculoskeletal ailments, emphasizing the importance of proper posture in preventing such issues.
