JDA allots shops to displaced shopkeepers of GBS

JAMMU, July 2: Jammu Development Authority (JDA) today conducted draw of lots for allotment of shops to the 46 displaced shopkeepers who were displaced due to the construction of Multi Level Car Parking cum Commercial Complex, at General Bus Stand (GBS), Jammu.
The draw of lots was conducted in a transparent manner and was fully video graphed in presence of Vice Chairperson, JDA, Babila Rakwal, Assistant Commissioner Manisha Sareen (representative of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu), Secretary JDA, Reetika Arora, Superintending Engineer JDA, Dharam Pal, STP JDA Raman Sharma, FA & CAO, JDA, Vaneet Singh Manhas, Senior Programmer, JDA, Baljeet Singh and Legal Assistant JDA, Avinash Gupta.
The letter of Intent in favour of the 46 shopkeepers was issued on spot. All the shopkeepers were happy as their long pending demand for allotment of shops at GBS was fulfilled today.
