JAMMU, Apr 29: The Enforcement Wing of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) on the direction of Vice Chairman Mubarak Singh removed 4 big poles installed unauthorizedly by some persons during odd hours at Janipur in the premise of JDA Shopping Complex on JDA land/park. Local shopkeepers and public were resenting the installation of these poles.
The enforcement wing under the supervision of Narinder Singh Khilafwarzi Officer, Sunil Kumar Nanda, Rajinder Singh Choudhary and field staff carried on the anti encroachment drive and removed 5 kanals of encroachment at Housing Colony Roop Nagar.
Besides this, at Muthi, enforcement wing also prevented encroachment of 10 kanals of land adjoining BSF Golf ground and backside of Accounts and Treasury Building. Encroachers were evicted from the land.
Five wooden khokhas and rehries raised on road side at Muthi, Roop Nagar, Rajinder Nagar Phase II Janipur were also removed.
