JAMMU, June 8: Vice Chairman, Jammu Development Authority Satesh Nehru along with team of senior officers of JDA visited the Narwal and Transport Nagar areas.
Vice Chairman took serious note of the encroachments made at site adjoining petrol pump at Narwal and directed the DLM/Chief Khilafwarzi Officer to remove the same immediately. The demolition operation was carried out on spot by enforcement wing of JDA under the supervision of Director Land Management. The precious land under the encroachment worth crores of Rupees was retrieved from encroachers by removing Khokhas, and illegal parkings etc.
Vice Chairman directed the CTP and Senior Architect to submit the proposal for construction of shops so that retrieved land can be utilized properly.
Vice Chairman also noticed a commercial building being raised on right side of main road at Narwal and directed DLM to stop the works immediately and get verified the relevant documents regarding title of land/NOCs.
