Jdiians leave audience spell-bound during ‘Fashion Fiesta’

JAMMU, May 30: The students of JD Institute populary known as ‘Jdiians’ left the audience spell bound during 7th Annual Exhibition “Fashion Fiesta-2015” with their interior and fashion designs they had made over the past one year.
The exhibition was inaugurated by guest of honours Aroonima Sinha, State teachers coordinator, Art of living and Subah Mehta, Assistant Commissioner.
The products on display by the Fashion Department were kurtis, suits, tops, sarees, bedcovers, scarves, jewellery, etc. The Interior Department put up an exquisite display of furniture pieces, paintings, lamps, pots, etc. The sheet work of the students of institute was also displayed on the occasion.
The guest of honours Aroonima Sinha and Subah Mehta in their speeches applauded the efforts of the students.
Maansi Gupta, Centre Director, JD Jammu said that she was amazed to see that how year after year the creativity of the students keeps getting better. She further added that this exhibition was a team effort and mentioned that the efforts put in by the faculty members headed by Lakhwinder Kour and Pooja Pandoh of Fashion Department and Pooja Sagar of Interiors Department were commendable.
Raman Gupta, Chairman, Krishna Creations JD Jammu also boosted the morale of student designers and the team of faculty members by appreciating for their outstanding work.
