JD(S) extends support to selected wardens

JAMMU, Dec 29: A meeting of Janta Dal (Secular) was held here today at party headquarters, wherein State president of the party, Mast Nath Yogi, while addressing the office bearers, extended his support to selected wardens sitting on huger strike.
The meeting asked the Government to issue appointment orders of the selected Jail Wardens as early as possible.
Expressing concern over the prevalent corruption in the State, the meeting also asked the Government to appoint Lokayukta in the State to check corruption.
Observing that Government employees in some departments are without salary for last nine months, the meeting asked the State Government to release their salary immediately.
The meeting also urged the Government to take up the work of widening of Jammu-Akhnoor Road, which it alleged has become accident prone.
