DODA, Mar 21: Police today arrested four persons including a Junior Engineer for threatening and manhandling an Executive Engineer of PHE Division here.
According to SSP Doda Mohammad Sharief Chouhan, a complaint was received from the Office of Additional District Development Commissioner Doda that Junior Engineer (JE) Vikar Ahmed and three other persons namely Azhar Gazi alias Bitta Mir, Lab Assistant in GDC Doda, Faheem Shahzada, Electrician, PHE Division Doda and Najeeb Ahmed alias Raju Gainda, shopkeeper threatening and manhandling an Executive Engineer of PHE Division Doda in his office chamber when the victim was performing his Government duties.
On the basis of the complaint, a case under FIR number 47/14 under Section 353, 332, 506 RPC was registered at police station Doda, SSP added.
After registering the case, police team from Doda police station arrested all the four accused, SSP informed.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
