JAMMU, Sept 10: Senior BJP leader and former Chairman Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and Councillor of Ward number 12, Jeet Angral here today inaugurated paver-tiles work at Krishna Nagar.
The work will be done under the supervision of JMC with an estimated cost of Rs. 27 lakh and several other works in the Ward will be done with this amount.
Lanes of the area were in a bad shape earlier and residents of the area especially senior citizens were facing a lot of problem while passing through these paths.
Speaking on the occasion Jeet Angral said that it was a long pending demand of the residents of the area which has been fulfilled today.
He also said that many roads in the Ward have been blacktopped and widened.
“Parks in the Ward have also been developed while works of lanes and drains were perfectly done,” the Councillor maintained adding that door-to-door moving autos have solved the problem of garbage disposal in the Ward.
BJP Talab Tillo Mandal president, Keshav Chopra was also present on the occasion and he lauded the works done by Angral in the Ward.
Ganga Angral, Kanta Devi, Anil Angral, Varinder Dogra, Swaran Samyal, Dr. Surjeet Singh, Rakesh Gupta, Puneet Kapoor, Kundan Lal, Tarun Angral, Kushal Chand, Sanjeev Malhotra and others were also present on the occasion.
