JAMMU, Nov 22: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Jeet Angral here today started developmental works of lanes at meat market area of Krishna Nagar.
Ex-MLA, Sat Sharma along with Executive Engineer Harvinder Singh, BJP Mandal president, Keshav Chopra, JMC officials, locals and political activists of the area were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said crores of rupees were spent during his tenure as MLA on the work of a deep drain in Krishna Nagar which is now giving relief to the people as now the rain water passes through the streamlined channels which has kept surroundings clean.
He stated that PM Narendra Modi’s work has sent a strong message to all the functionaries, be they elected representatives or administration that everybody is accountable.
Jeet Angral said that BJP is committed to all around development and is working on both long and short term policies for the same.
He appealed masses to avoid throwing solid waste into drains as the same may chock them.
JE Rajat Manhas, Supervisor Yougal Kishore, Surjit Singh Chib, Jatinder Kour, Pratibha Sharma, Varinder Dogra, Anil Angral, Ramesh Thakyal, Tarun Angral and others were also present.
