Jennifer Lopez breaks Britney’s Las Vegas residency record

LOS ANGELES, Aug 19:  Pop star Jennifer Lopez has beat Britney Spears’ Las Vegas residency record by making USD 1 million in box office sales in one-night.
The 47-year-old Latin superstar is currently headlining her “All I Have” show at the Axis at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, and she hit a milestone on Saturday by earning over USD 1 million in ticket revenue, reported Ace Showbiz.
She has become the first performer at the Caesars Entertainment property to hit the magic number in one night, according to The Las Vegas Review Journal newspaper.
The star took over the top spot from Spears, who also stages her “Piece of Me” show at Planet Hollywood.
Lopez kicked off her residency in January, and will return to the stage in December.
Meanwhile, Spears recently kicked off the latest leg of “Piece of Me”, wrapping the run in September. Her residency is scheduled to come to an end in February next year. (PTI)
