JEWA continues strike on 5th day

JAMMU, May 4: JAKFED Employees continued their strike on 5th consecutive day under the banner of JAKFED Employee’s Welfare Association (JEWA), in support of their genuine demands as no one form the Board Management came to their rescue.
The employees are demanding for the implementation for 6th Pay Commission and SRO 43 besides some other demands.
The Association has decided that all the LPG agencies of JAKFED will remain closed from tomorrow in view of their ongoing strike.
The employees of JAKFED appealed the Minister of State for Cooperatives to accede to their genuine demands to avoid further ruination of the Institution due to strike.
The Association however assured all possible cooperation to the Government to work for the cause of institution with dedication and full honesty.
