KATHUA, Mar 26: Member Legislative Assembly Bani, Jewan Lal today held a public meeting at Panyalag.
SDM Bani Ajeet Singh, Tehsildar Bani Shiv Kumar, AEE PHE Bhushan Singh, AEE . Sudesh, XEn PMGSY, JE PDD, BMO Bani, ZEPO Bani, B.D.O Duggan, T.S.O Bani and other Tehsil level officers were present on the occasion.
The MLA was apprised about the various demands and problems being faced by the people of this far flung area which include blacktopping of roads , upgradation of High School Panyalag, development of the area as a tourist spot, problem of bad quality rations at food store, problem of MGNREGA labourers etc.
While responding to the various demands and problems of the people, Jewan Lal directed the concerned officers to look into their demands and problems and asked them to address their genuine problems at the earliest.
Addressing the gathering MLA said that the present coalition Government is fully aware about the problems of common masses in general and of the people of Bani in particular adding that the Government is launching various welfare schemes for the common masses. He also suggested that the civil administration must take the common masses into confidence for the proper implementation of the Government schemes.
Stressing upon the concerned authorities to expedite the blacktopping of roads from Bani to Challoge and from Challoge to Duggan, he assured the people of all possible help from his side. Lal also announced Rs.5 Lac to Village Panyalag for development works.
