JAMMU, Mar 7: JJSF activists from GDC RS Pura, GDC Samba and GDC Kunjwani today held a protest demonstration at Jammu University campus demanding online examination for all semesters for under graduate students.
The students staged a sit-in in front of the office of the Controller of Examination and raised slogans demanding online examination. Protesting students said that despite online mode of their whole semester study, the University administration was now forcing them to appear offline examination for 3rd and 5th Semester.
Harjot Singh, Secretary JJSF, while addressing the media, said that Jammu University was doing disparity with 3rd and 5th Semester students by imposing offline exams on them where as the same JU administration has ordered for online examination for 1st semester. He said when all students including 1st, 3rd and 5th Semester studied their current curriculum through online mode than why JU administration allowed only 1st semester students for online examination excluding students of 3rd and 5th semester.
