JAMMU, Apr 27: Jammu Joint Students Federation (JJSF) activists today torched an effigy of Pakistan while demonstrating at GGM Science College, Jammu in protest against the recent cowardly terrorist attack on Indian soldiers in Poonch.
The protest was led by Keshav Malhotra, President JJSF unit of GGM Science College Jammu. A number of activists assembled at main gate of the college and raised slogans against Pakistan which is the main sponsor of terrorism in Jammu Kashmir. JJSF activists accused Pakistan for supporting terrorist groups and unleashing them for attacks on the Indian territory.
Addressing the media persons, Keshav Malhotra said that Pakistan was creating a sense of terror in Jammu Kashmir by sponsoring various terror attacks. He said that even the world knows that Pakistan is the launching pad of all terrorists and their organizations all over the world. He said three recent terror attacks in Rajouri and Poonch i.e. first at Alpha Gate Rajouri, second in Dhangri village of Rajouri and latest in Poonch were an attempt of Pakistan to create terror in the twin border districts of J&K. He said the Indian Army was capable enough to give terrorists and Pakistan a befitting reply for their attacks.
Atul Sudan, State Vice President JJSF, while addressing the media persons, said that Pakistan has freaked out because of the proposed G20 meeting in Srinagar district of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that in all recent terror attacks in Jammu Kashmir, local involvement of over ground workers and sleeper cells has been found and hence the security forces and intelligence agencies should launch an aggressive operation to find out all such traitors, who should be hanged publicly. He also expressed anguish over the Maoist attack in Dantewada of Chhattisgarh in which 10 Jawans and a driver were martyred. He said terrorism of any kind and anywhere in India should be dealt with by Iron hands. He appealed to the Home Minister and Prime Minister of India for carrying out another surgical strike on Pakistan to destroy all its launching pads where these terrorists are trained and launched to create terror in India.
Others who addressed media during the protest, included Jaspal Rana, Abhishek Sharma, Ritik Verma, Aditya, Aryan Sharma, Vipan Malhotra, Abhishek Sharma, Kavi Partap Singh, Himanshu Samyal, Tushar Pandey, Gourav Charak and Shobit Bhardwaj.
