JAMMU, Aug 20: Continuing their protest against Government Degree College Ploura administration today, Jammu Joint Students Union (JJSU) along with the college students raised slogans against college administration.
All the classes gathered at main gate of the college and raised slogans against college administration and Higher Education Department. Students demanded opening admissions for re-appear candidates as it were closed due to different illogical reasons.
Sandeep Singh Sandy, speaking on the occasion said that the administration of the college has no logical answer for not barring the re-appear candidates for further admission in 1st year.
“It is clearly mentioned in the Cabinet order that all the Government colleges which started functioning after 2005 will admit the re-appear students”, said Sandeep adding that it is also mentioned in the order that there is specific seats for these colleges.
