SRINAGAR, Jan 30: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Thursday organized a “Tiranga Rally” in Srinagar. The rally marked the culmination of the Republic Day celebrations by ABVP.
Beginning at the Tourist Reception Centre (TRC), the rally proceeded through the bustling Residency Road and Regal Chowk before culminating peacefully at the historic Lal Chowk. A large number of ABVP activists, including a significant number of women, carried a long tricolor flag as they marched through Srinagar’s business centre.
“The aim of the Tiranga rally is to spread a message that the youth of Kashmir are Indian and will always remain Indian,” a participant said.
A woman participant echoed the sentiment, saying, “This rally is our way of expressing love for the nation and showcasing our unity.”
