JAMMU, July 13: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 140 COVID positive cases while Ladakh registered five positives.
In Jammu division, 96 new cases of infection were reported while the number was 44 in Kashmir valley.
Among 96 cases in Jammu division, the highest 74 were registered in Jammu district, 11 in Udhampur, four Doda, three Rajouri and two each in Samba and Kathua districts.
Number of active positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir has gone up to 769. Of them, 466 active cases are in Jammu and 303 in Kashmir. Jammu district has highest number of 383 active positive cases.
All five fresh COVID positive cases in the UT of Ladakh were logged in Leh district.
Leh now has 51 active positive cases while Kargil district is Corona-free.
