J&K artists participating in Intl Painters Camp in HP

JAMMU, Jan 17: Three artists from the State are participating in an International Painters Camp at International Centre of Reorichs, Naggar, district Kullu, Himachal Pradesh (HP).
The camp is being organized by International Reorich Memorial Trust, Naggar (Kullu) from January 16 to 18. The programme was inaugurated by Jyoty Rana, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Manali (HP).
Dr Clemens Beungkun SOU (Korea), Jang S Verman, Amrit Kaur and Anuradha (trio from J&K), Sushma (Punjab), Peena Kundal and Naveen Diman (HP), Prabhinder Lall and Ishwar Dayal (Chandigarh), Ramesh Khatri (Uttrakhand), participated in the three-day painters camp.
In her address, the chief guest applauded the venture undertaken by the Trust for organizing such a workshop. She said that efforts should be made to patronize and preserve art in the region.
Naveen Dhiman, president, Himachal Art Heritage and Prabhinder Lal, president, Art Fort India, Jang S Verman and Russian Officer, Alexander, also spoke on the occasion.
