J&K Bank commissions ATM at Budgam

SRINAGAR, Dec 7: J&K Bank added yet another Automated Teller Machine (ATM) to its vast network across the UT of J&K, with the latest one commissioned at New Bus Stand Budgam.
The ATM, sixth in the Budgam town, was inaugurated by Zonal Head Kashmir Central-2 Syed Shujaat Hussain Andrabi in presence of Cluster Head Budgam Pervaiz Ahmad Mir and Head Business Unit Budgam Syed Jameel Qadri.
The aim of setting up of the ATM, Zonal Head said, was to provide people with banking services at convenient points.
“Budgam town is a huge town witnessing a massive rush of local and adjoining areas’ populace. The New Bus Stand is a transit point for people from in and around Budgam and one of the upcoming business hubs of the town, so having an ATM there will cater to huge chunk of commuters and businessmen over there.
J&K Bank always strives for better delivery of banking services to the people as per convenience and feasibility,” the Zonal Head said adding that the ATM will also help in thinning of the rush to the branches which is very much the need of the hour keeping in view the current Pandemic.
The locals said that the Bank has always ensured their fair demands are taken care of.
The latest addition takes the number of ATMs in Kashmir Central-2 to 92 and 1380 in the country.
