KATHUA, Dec 6: In a significant step towards expanding its banking network, J&K Bank today commissioned an off-site ATM at the SICOP Complex, Integrated Industrial Development Centre (IIDC) Govindsar in Kathua.
The ATM was inaugurated by MLA Kathua Dr. Bharat Bhushan, in the presence of J&K Bank’s Zonal Head (Kathua) Sanjeev Kumar, BDO Kathua, prominent industrialists, SICOP officials, along with a vibrant gathering of customers, local residents, and bank officials.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan expressed his gratitude towards J&K Bank for bringing world-class banking services to the region, noting that the new ATM would benefit industrialists, their employees, labourers, and nearby residents by addressing their cash-related needs. He commended the bank for its vital role in supporting the economy of Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in remote areas.
Sanjeev Kumar, Zonal Head, Kathua, remarked, “We are pleased to dedicate this ATM to the industrial area, fulfilling a longstanding demand from the industries association. Its strategic location will benefit not only industrialists and their employees but also the residents of surrounding areas.”
The inauguration was followed by an interaction between Dr. Bhushan, Sanjeev Kumar, industrialists, and customers, who expressed their appreciation for the bank’s initiative and assured full cooperation in supporting the bank’s growth in the region.
