Srinagar, Jan 3: The J&K Bank today commissioned a Cash Recycler Machine (CRM) at DC office complex in Ramban and an ATM at Katrasoo, Kulgam.
As per a press statement issued by the bank, Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam inaugurated the CRM in presence of Bank’s Zonal Head Doda, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat and the locals.
Acknowledging the contribution of the bank in rendering the world class facilities to the people, the DC Ramban said that the installation of the CRM will definitely help the people in depositing as well as receiving the cash beyond the fixed banking hours and even on holidays. He urged the people to avail the facility as per their own convenience.
Reaffirming the bank’s commitment to provide best banking facilities and financial services to the people of J&K, the bank’s Zonal Head, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat said: “the installation of CRM will help in reducing the footfall at the adjacent branches of the bank because the CRM not only dispenses the cash but provides the depositing facility as well”.
Meanwhile, Bank’s Zonal Head Anantnag, Tasaduq Ahmad Dar inaugurated the ATM at Katrasoo, Kulgam in presence of Cluster Head Kulgam Mohammad Shafi Bhat, other officials of the bank and a large gathering of locals.
While inaugurating the ATM, the bank’s Zonal Head interacted with the people and apprised them about the growing importance of banks in the economic welfare of people.
People of Ramban and Kulgam expressed their gratitude towards the bank management for extending convenient banking services to the people.
