SRINAGAR, Aug 22: Carrying forward its ease-of-banking mission, J&K Bank dedicated a Cash Recycler Machine (CRM) for public at its Chidwal branch in District Kathua.
Bank’s Zonal Head (Kathua) Sanjeev Kumar inaugurated the CRM in presence of Cluster Head, Vinay Gupta, Credit Head and Branch Manager amid a good gathering of customers, senior citizens, local businessmen of the area and staff members of the Bank.
Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Head said, “We feel happy to dedicate new CRM to the people along with existing onsite ATM, which has been a long pending demand of the local businessmen and residents. Now the customers can deposit or withdraw cash at any time even after the banking hours and on holidays.”
He instructed the branch staff to sensitize the locals about various beneficiary schemes and educate locals about digital delivery channels rolled out by the Bank.
He said, “I assure full support to the businessmen, unemployed youth and local entrepreneurs who want to start their ventures under various schemes of the Bank.”
Meanwhile, J&K Bank commissioned a Cash Recycler Machine (CRM) at Rehambal in district Udhampur.
The Bank’s Zonal Head (Udhampur) Rajesh Gupta inaugurated the CRM in presence of Branch Manager Sanjay Gupta amid a gathering of valuable customers including Sarpanches and other prominent citizens of the area.
On the occasion, Zonal Head Rajesh Gupta reiterated the Bank’s commitment of providing easy and affordable banking services to people irrespective of their location and status. “Besides serving our customers and people at large, the installation of CRM will help in reducing footfall at the adjacent branches because the cash recycler machine not only dispenses money but provides facility for depositing cash also”, he said.
