SRINAGAR, Oct 1: Strengthening its top leadership band further, J&K Bank today elevated its three Senior Presidents to the level of Executive Presidents and three Presidents were promoted as Senior Presidents.
The orders to this effect were issued by Chairman & CEO Mushtaq Ahmad here today.
The new Executive Presidents are Vagish Chander, Surjeet Singh Sehgal and Abdul Rauf. Three presidents elevated as Senior Presidents are Abdul Rashid , Mohammad Sayeed Wani and Surender Krishan Bhat.
Commenting on the elevations, Chairman said, “The promotions are in line with bank’s strategic planning that seeks further momentum at the leadership level for processes of growth and effective consolidation.
“The elevations are also linked to our increasing footprint and growing size in the backdrop of ever-increasing challenges and opportunities”, he added.
Describing bank’s human capital as the most valuable asset Chairman said, “Recognizing the contributions of our people, we shall keep creating opportunities to present a promising growth path to our HR across all levels.”
Notably, S S Sehgal heads Advacnes (Rest of Inida), Customer Care, while as Abdul Rauf heads HRDD/CCD/Board/CSR and Vagish Chander heads Technology & Information Services Division/Law.
