NOWSHERA, July 10: A J&K Bank employee and her husband were seriously injured in car accident near Dhanwa in Chingus area of Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place when the Alto car (JK11D/7012) being driven by one Ankush Kumar, resident of village Kalidab, went out of control and rolled down into a gorge at around 9.45 am. He was going to drop his wife, Poonam to J&K Bank branch, Kallar Chowk, where she was posted.
Both the injured persons were rushed to District Hospital, Rajouri, where doctors provided preliminary treatment and then referred them to GMC Hospital, Jammu. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
