JK Bank holds fire evacuation drill

JAMMU, Sept 9: To ensure safety and security of its human resources and equipment, J&K Bank organised a maiden fire evacuation drill at its Zonal office, Rail Head Complex, here today.
The drill was organised under the supervision and guidance of J&K Fire and Emergency Services, Headquarters, Gandhi Nagar.
All the staff members were involved in the fire evacuation drill with a purpose to provide tactical experience, sufficient knowledge and training to the employees as well as empower them to calmly face and handle all circumstances that might arise during fire.
The emergency response team evacuated all associates using microphones to the designated assembly point located outside the building. Every Head of Department performed a head count to make sure all associates were safe and accounted for.
The team from J&K Fire and Emergency Services was headed by Raj Kumar Raina, Divisional Fire Officer. Bank’s president and Zonal Head Jammu (Central), Om Parkash Sharma thanked Raina for providing the tactical support in successful culmination of the fire evacuation drill.
