J&K Bank inaugurates ATM in Anantnag

SRINAGAR, Oct 1: J&K Bank commissioned an ATM at Ashajipora in Anantnag, in presence of large number of valuable customers of the Bank and respectable citizens of the area.
District Development Commissioner Farooq Ahmad Shah inaugurated the ATM while Bank’s Zonal Head Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, Cluster Head, Zaffar Ahmad Makhdoomi, Lead District Manager Mufti and SSP Anantnag R K Jalla.
Speaking on the occasion DDC Anantnag lauded the efforts of Bank in creating a wide network of ATMs in the district. He also lauded the Bank for its role in the implementation of District Credit Plan that envisages progress for unemployed youth under various Government sponsored programs.
Bank’s Zonal Head stated that the Bank was committed to reach every nook and corner of the J&K with State-of-the-art technology and world class banking facilities.
The Bank also distributed 3500 Kissan Credit Cards at Kokernag in a function presided over by the DDC Anantnag.
Meanwhile, J&K Bank RSETI Bandipore concluded a 10-day skill development program in ‘Fashion Designing’ wherein 25 students were imparted the requisite skills.
RSETI Director M Fayaz explained the importance of RSETI’s in motivating the youth to start their own enterprises in order to generate employment for themselves and creating employment opportunities for others instead of looking for Government jobs.
