J&K Bank organizes financial literacy camp

JAMMU, Sept 17: A financial literacy camp was organized today by J&K Bank Baletar Sumb at village Battal with a motive of creating awareness on financial concepts and management of money amongst the people and making the people aware of the recently launched social security schemes.
The camp was organized in association with NABARD. Over 100 people participated in the camp apart from higher officials from J&K Bank Zonal Office Jammu Central -II Kathua and officials from different departments.
Ravinder Singh Nagra, Bank Officer, highlighted about latest developments in banking sector and latest schemes like Kissan Dost, KCC, Education Loan, Housing Loan, Transport Loan, Easy Working Capital, Mortgage Loan, Mudra (Sishu, Kishore and Tarun) Loans, recently launched by Government apart from various Social Security Scheme like PMSBY, PMJDY, PMJJY and APY.
Rajpal Singh Slathia, Branch Head, J&K Bank Baletar (Sumb) requested the participants to use PMJDY (ATM ) Card within 90 days even if account balance is Zero to get benefit for Insurance Cover  and advised them to collect the cards on priority basis from branch.
