JAMMU, May 20: A delegation of PO aspirants of J&K Bank led by president Bar Association Jammu, and senior advocate Abhinav Sharma called on Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh here, today and demanded that they should be provided an opportunity to plead their case before the concerned authorities of J&K Bank as well as State Governor.
While discussing the issue of these aspirants with Dr Jitendra Singh, Abhinav Sharma informed the Union Minister that norms and rules for appointment in J&K Bank are not properly laid down and demanded that an exercise be made in this regard otherwise there will be problems in future too.
While appreciating their concern of the delegation, the Union Minister informed them that Narendra Modi led Government also believes in transparency in the working of Government departments as well as public sector organizations for their smooth functioning so that no body is deprived of his due and deserving people get the jobs on the basis of merit and their capability.
Dr Jitendra Singh told the delegation that they will be provided complete opportunity to plead their case before the concerned quarters as well as Governor of the State. Dr Jitendra Singh also laid a request to the Governor for giving an appointment to these aspirants so that they can plead their case before him. The Raj Bhawan also agreed to arrange a meeting of these aspirants with Governor very soon.
The aspirants also made a request for arrangement of their meeting with the bank management also so that the issue can be brought in their notice too.
