JK Brahman Sabha to take out Shobha Yatra on Parshuram Jayanti

JAMMU, Apr 10: Jammu Kashmir Brahman Sabha will take out an impressive Shobha Yatra on the occasion of Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti and Akshay Tritya, which falls on April 22, this year.
This was informed by Atul Sharma, president of Jammu Kashmir Brahman Sabha, while addressing a press conference, here today.
He said that the Shobha Yatra will commence at 10 am from K K Resort Udyawala with Aarti of Bhagwan Parshuram. After passing through Borhi, Poonch House, Talab Tillo, Canal Road, Jewal Chowk, Bikram Chowk, University Road, the Shobha Yatra will culminate at Har Ki Porhi Temple.
The Shobha Yatra will comprise tableaus on life and teachings of Bhagwan Parshuram. The Brahman Sabha has titled this year’s Shobha Yatra as ‘Sanatan Jorho Shobha Yatra’, which aims to unite followers of Sanatan Dharma, said Atul Sharma.
He extended an open invitation to all the Brahmans across Jammu Kashmir to participate in the Shobha Yatra and give a message of unity and faith in the teachings of Bhagwan Parshuram. The culmination of Shobha Yatra will follow a grand Bhandara.
Patron of the Brahman Sabha, Swami 1008 Sanjay Ganpatya Shastri. Narayan Bharti ( Senior vice-president), Pandit Utpal Sharma (vice-president) and Pandit Shivansh Dubey ( district president Jammu) were also present in the press conference.
