JAMMU, Aug 23: Former J&K Mahila Congress president Indu Pawar ( Ex-MLA) has alleged that public in Jammu and Kashmir is facing brunt of anti-people policies of BJP Government at the Centre.
While interacting with people in Ward No. 5 of Jammu Municipal Corporation Pawar who was accompanied by party functionaries asked the people to gear up for the forthcoming Local Bodies elections in the region. Committee members also accompanied her during the interaction with resident of the ward.
She said that public has fed up with the anti- people policies of BJP Govt and LG Administration. The people are already facing difficulties in view of soaring prices of items of daily use, may it be vegetables, petrol/diesel, fruits or other ration items.
The LG’s administration is leaving no stone unturned in bringing more miseries like installation of smart meters under supervision of state forces and immediate enforcement of property tax. Many organisations are protesting against these measures being enforced by the present Govt and common man is crushed between these burning issues.
If immediate relief is not given by Govt a common man will be sufferer and face a irreparable loss. She appealed public to vote & support Congress party so that it can bring peace harmony and control prices of essential goods.
Those who spoke on the occasion included Carporater Inderjeet Kour , Tamanna from Seva Dal, Anil and Farooq Salaria.
