JAMMU, Sep 17:
As many as 68 citizens of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir, who were trapped in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir due to flash floods have been sent back by Poonch-Rawalakot bus service via Chakka-da-Bagh.
“Around 68 Pakistani nationals, who were stuck on this side of the border due to flash floods, were sent back yesterday in Poonch-Rawlakote bus service” official sources said here today.
The PoK citizens were sent back after Indian Army repaired an iron bridge to link Poonch and Rawalakot. Travel and trade was suspended from September 1 when the devastating floods had destroyed the Ranganala bridge.
The Engineer unit of the Indian Army completed the construction of an iron bridge on Friday for cross border transportation between India and Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC). (AGENCIES)
