JAMMU, June 25: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has sanctioned the advance release of central share funds from the adopted budget under Major Head: 2236-Nutrition, Minor Head: 101- Special Nutrition Programme, and Sub-Head: 1288-1CDS/Anganwadi Services General (CS) scheme.
This provision aims to cover the salary and honorarium of the sanctioned staff as of April 1, 2024, for one quarter. The installment amounts to one-fourth of the annual central allocation, sufficient to meet at least three months’ salary and honorarium requirements. These advanced funds will be recouped from the Ministry of Women & Child Development (MoWCD) upon their release.
