JAMMU: Union Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office Jitendra Singh today said that Jammu and Kashmir is gradually becoming an educational hub.
”Jammu and Kashmir is gradually becoming an educational hub with establishments of institutes of national importance like IIT, IIM and AIIMS,” Dr Singh said, while addressing a gathering after inaugurating the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalya at Akhnoor tehsil here.
He said the Government is keen to set up more educational institutions in the State. ”Earlier, priority was on accessibility of education but now, the priority is shifted to quality of education,” adding, ”the present scenario of education is going through a positive change.” (AGENCIES)
