J&K Grameen Bank disburses loans of over Rs 1 cr among beneficiaries

JAMMU, Dec 26: J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB), Batera disbursed loans of Rs 1.02 crore under KCC scheme to 106 beneficiaries.
MS Bhau, District Manager, J&K Grameen Bank, who was the chief guest on the occasion, inaugurated the Credit Camp cum awareness programme on financial inclusion.
While speaking on the occasion, Bhau highlighted the initiatives taken by the bank for credit dispensation in the diversified activities for the purpose of setting up economic units for augmenting the income of the families and in turn overall development of the rural people through institutional credit.
Earlier, VK Sharma, senior Manager, Microfinance and Financial Inclusion appraised the large gathering of people about the various lending schemes of the bank for providing credit to agriculturists, business community, transporters etc.
An amount of Rs 1.02 crore was disbursed on spot to the 106 beneficiaries by MS Bhau, District Manager, J&K Grameen Bank in the shape of KCC.
Panchs and Sarpachs of the area and Representatives from Agriculture and other line departments were also present on the occasion.
In the end, Madan Lal Sharma, Branch Head, J&K Grameen Bank, Batera presented vote of thanks.
