SAMBA, Sept 29: J&K Grameen Bank organized Mega Credit Camp of MUDRA Loans (Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojna) cum Financial Literacy and Awareness Programme at village Sumb.
The camp was organized for sanctioning/disbursement of loans of Rs 50000 to non-farm enterprises in manufacturing, trading and services under ‘SHISHU’ category and under other schemes of bank.
The chief guest of the camp Surinder Singh, DDM, NABARD urged the gathering to utilize the opportunity and avail the loans under Mudra scheme and other schemes of bank i.e KCC, GCC, education loan and housing loan etc.
He also highlighted the benefits of Farmers Club, SHG, JLG and various schemes under financial inclusion of NABARD for the awareness and upliftment of rural masses.
A simple one page application devised by GOI/Bank for ‘SHISHU’ category of Mudra Loans was distributed among the people.
KL Sharma, Area Manager, Kathua and Samba highlighted the benefits of ‘MUDRA’ Loans devised for the benefit of poor people who have no funds to start their own small businesses and are still excluded from the ambit of financial services.
Lead District Manager, SBI, Samba, Hans Raj Hans also spoke on the benefits of the scheme and urged the people to come forward and take full benefit of the MUDRA scheme by opening their own business units.
Panchs, Sarpanchs and prominent citizens of the area were also present on the occasion.
Branch Head, Kasturi Lal welcomed the guests and also present vote of thanks.
