JAMMU, Feb 3: St. Soldier Group of Institutions in association with Directorate of Employment organized Job Fair in General Zoravar Singh Auditorium, Jammu University here today.
More than 4000 students from all the regions of the State participated in the job fair which was inaugurated by BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma along with Prof. Manhar Arora Managing Director, St. Soldier Group of Institutions, Harinder Gupta BJP State general secretary, Arvind Gupta BJP State treasure and Anu Bahl, Joint Director Employment.
While speaking at the occasion; Sat Sharma asked the student to sharpen their skills to match with the expectations of corporate world. He mentioned that there is abundance of talent in the State and we have all pride for our students. Further he appreciated the initiative of Directorate of Employment and St. Soldier Group of Institutions.
Prof. Manhar Arora Managing Director said “the St. Soldier Group of Institutions in association with Directorate of Employment will conduct some more Mega Job fairs for the students of Jammu and Kashmir in near future. He also mentioned that during the said recruitment and selection process the applicants have realized their strengths and shortcomings which could be improved upon”. Prof. Manhar, said “every effort will be made to provide placements opportunities for the students of the State.”
It was the significant employment event when more than 15 good companies like Indusind Bank, Bandhan Bank, HDFC, AMC, Fortune Inn Riveria, Hotel Lemon Tree, Competent Synergies, Sharekhan, Adecco, ICG, IDSPL, Oppo Mobile, Kotak Securities, and Anand Rathi etc. have come at one place and offered several jobs to the aspiring professionals. It was jubilant phase for more than 4000 students who have been given chance of employment. The students those have completed their graduation or those are into their final year of studies availed the opportunity for the job process.
They said this was a great experience for them where they have option to choose from many companies and select the sector in which they want to make their career. Participants were satisfied.
