J&K ICAI, FICCI organise awareness programme

JAMMU, Feb 25: The Jammu and Kashmir Branch of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (JKICA) organised an Investors Awareness Programme in association with FICCI FLO.
CA Vinay Jamwal, past-Chairman of the branch gave the welcome address and highlighted the importance of women’s participation in handling the finances and thus contributing towards the economic growth of the nation.
CA Priya Seht, Executive Member of the branch and Member of Women Empowerment Committee of the NIRC of ICAI conducted the proceedings. She along-with CA Ayush Sawhney, treasurer were the panelists for the session and apprised them about the importance of financial planning, investments, savings, frauds in online transactions and the safeguards for the same along-with subsidies available to MSMEs.
Dr Ritu Singh, Chairperson of FICCI Flo, J&K and Ladakh Chapter applauded the branch for taking the initiative of imparting financial education to the females including entrepreneurs and students thereby empowering the women in true spirits through the programme.
Rajinder Sharma, Mayor JMC also appreciated the efforts of the branch for undertaking such an event and recognised the efforts of ICAI for being a partner in nation building.
Pooja Gandotra, Member Core Committee of FLO heading Financial Literacy vertical and other members of FLO, Arun Prabhat, State president BJPYM along-with women entrepreneurs and students were also present.
CA Sourav Pargal, Executive Member of the branch presented the vote of thanks.
