J&K Offset Printers Association celebrates birthday of Johannes Gutenberg

JAMMU, Feb 27: J&K Offset Printers Association, celebrated the birthday of the Father of the Printing Johannes Gutenberg. Gutenberg was a German blacksmith, goldsmith, printer and publisher who introduced printing to the world.
JKOPA members celebrated the Printers Day with the Sightless children of Louis Braille Memorial (LBM) Residential School for sightless girls, at Roop Nagar, Jammu by distributing the goods of their daily needs, wall clock and computer table. These girls are in the age group of 8 to 16years.
The members of the association who were present on the occasion were Arun K Gupta, President JKOPA, Sudesh Gupta, Sr. V President, Vipin Mahajan, V President, Girish Kapoor, Gen Secretary, Gourav Gupta, Secretary, Avinash Anand, Finance Secretary, Pankaj Sethi, IPP, Ravi Gupta, Rakesh Mehta, Sanjay Soni, Satish Jandyal, Sharat Sharma, Kukoo Ji Bhan, Goutam Mehta and Ravi Sharma.
The caretaker of the school Anju expressed gratitude to JKOPA for their contribution towards the needy children of the school.
