JAMMU, May 29: Online special general body meeting of J&K Olympic Association was held under the chairmanship of its President Prof (Dr) Ashutosh Sharma.
Representative of 26 Sports Associations affiliated to the J&K Olympic Association and all office bearers attended the meeting.
Son of the soil and re-elected President of International Hockey Federation (FIH) Dr Narinder Dhruv Batra also attended the meeting and interacted with all the members.
During the meeting, issues related to promotion of sports in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir including forthcoming National Games at Pune and UT games to be conducted J&K Olympics Association were discussed.
Dr Narinder Dhruv Batra assured the office bearers of all the Associations to redress all their genuine problems and promised to visit J&K UT after the situation improves.
Dushyant Sharma, General Secretary J&K Olympic Association, Zamir Thakur, Senior Vice-President, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, Captain Murti Gupta, Kiran Wattal, Ravinder Singh, Bhupinder Singh Tirthi, Mukerjeet Sharma, Kuku Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Rajeev Sharma, Yudhvir Singh, Dr Taran Singh, Sunil Sharma, Dr OD Sharma, Vijay Saraf, Ravinder Singh (Bubby), Rajan Sharma, Mohammad Iqbal, Sharat Chander Singh, Dheeraj Sharma, Vikas Gupta, Vinod Bhatia, Tarsem Sharma, Sahil Sharma (International Wrestling Coach), Rajesh Dutta, Kuldeep Kumar, Jai Bharat, Sahil Sharma and other prominent members were present in the meeting.
In the end, vote of thanks was presented by Bhupinder Singh Tirthi.
